Athena could be the poster girl for the ideal huacaya breed standard! This half Accoyo, full Peruvian female is the daughter of the great Accoyo macho Grand Triumph, and a medium fawn 4Peruvian dam. Athena’s fleece has a soft uniform crimp which is evenly distributed over her entire body and even up into her full bonnet. Her 2007 fleece was 21.5 microns with a blanket of over 5 lbs.  She delivered her first cria WoodsEdge Aphrodite of Aurora by Peruvian Royal Armani, a son of Accoyo Royal Fawn, out of a Macusani dam, 6Peruvian Jude.

DOB: 06/10/2006

Sire: Ppperuvian El Moustachio 6003

Dam: Grand Alero’s Miss Inga

Isabella recently joined us and is a welcome addition to our show string and soon our white breeding program.  Issy placed 5th in our first show at SEPA in a competitive juvenile white class.  From any angle, this elite young girl will catch your eye! Issy has a superb temperament and is friendly and outgoing.  On closer inspection you will find her wonderful fleece with tiny, tight bundles, and a Merino-style crimp, which is consistent from her neck to shoulder to hips. Isabella’s fleece is extremely bright with a superbly soft handle showing tremendous density for this fineness! Take a look at her dam, Miss Inga, and you’ll begin to understand the depth and strength of fleece character in this pedigree.

Ingrid joined Aurora Farm in April of 2007.  She has lovely “vicuna” coloring and a beautiful soft crimpy fleece with a micron of 19.2! Our first breeding on the farm was with Ingrid and ELK Black Jewel for a Spring 2008 cria.  We are hoping for a beautiful black cria! Ingrid had a shearing weight of about 6 lbs and 22.1 micron fleece.  Ingrid’s fleece has a beautiful luster and rich color with a high CV.

Aysen’s Precious IMPQ98

Noches and her daughter Luna came to us from Fenwick Manor Farm in September of 2007.  We had been looking for a few girls to fit into our black breeding program and these two fit the bill!  Though they do not carry a tremendous amount of fleece both Noches and her daughter have a very nice crimp and soft hand to their fleeces.  Noches is bred to, Chinook, for a spring 2008 cria.
