Ashley is a
beautiful silver
appy like her
grandfather Fancy
Creek Hobbes, who
came to us from
Shangrila Farm in
Virginia. We are
hoping for some
spectacular
appaloosa babies
from Ashley, but the
best thing about her
is her personality
which she is passing
on to her kids. She
is extremely calm
and sweet even while
pregnant and her
mother and siblings
are exactly the same
so it has to be the
genetics. Ashley
produced a lovely
true black girl we
call Raven,
Shangrila’s
Nevermore DOB
5/3/08. Raven is a
big, tall,
structurally sound
girl with striking
black fleece.

Bonnie is another of our
Shangrila Farm llamas. She
is a striking Movin On
daughter out of Ariel, a
white and silver paint.
Even though she is light
wool her fiber is very soft
and shiny and she has
excellent confirmation.
Bonnie did great at Virginia
Classic as a juvenile. She
won her class and received
third of the Top Five. Her
first baby from the spring
of 2007 was a beautiful
silky black boy with white
front feet that look like
spats with gorgeous curved
ears. Her second baby in
2008 here at Aurora,
Shangrila’s The Gray Ghost
is a striking gray/tan boy.
Both Bonnie and Ghost are

“Miriah” is a beautiful
tuxedo pattern llama
youngster with a
fantastic outgoing
temperament. Cindy
Ruckman from McFarland
Llama Farm sent me her
photograph shortly after
she was born and it was
love at first site! I
have been a black and
white fan in Shetland
Sheepdogs for years and
so the natural
progression was adding a
gorgeous monochromatic
young lady to our herd
and an opportunity that
we just couldn’t resist.
Miriah is light wool,
classic llama that will
hopefully bring us into
the world of show
llamas. We have high
hopes for the future
with this one. Miriah
arrived at our farm in
March of 2007 with her
mother Mocha and a
repeat breeding to Taj
Mahal also on board.

Mocha was one of our two
original girls and came
to us from McFarland’s
Llamas in Ohio. We
selected her because of
her outstanding lineage,
easy birthing and
experience as a mother
since she was going to
be our first birth here
at Aurora. Mocha didn’t
disappoint and delivered
her female cria “Latte”
unaided and as a
surprise to our farm
help and me over 25 days
“late”. Mocha’s second
cria at Aurora by the
impressive GLL Albacore
(Tuna Fish x Maureen
O'Toole) of Spruce Lane
Llamas is a lovely, tall
and stretchy, black and
white tuxedo boy with a
fantastic temperament
and a look at me
attitude DOB 6-16-08.

Latte was the first cria
born at Aurora. She
was named after her Mom
and for the “foam” on
her chin. She is
actually a full sister
to our Miriah sired by
McFarland’s Llama Farm -
Taj Mahal of Tunitas.
Latte is an intense
brown silky girl
possessing that tall
stretchy style and
confidence. We hope
Latte is a promising
show prospect for 2008!

Fancy came to Aurora
Farm in September of
2007 from our friends at
McFarland’s Llama Farm
in Ohio. Fancy is a
big, stretchy, heavy
wool girl, with a strong
head and ear set. She
has a lovely pattern and
is very determined to
get her way with an
attempted stare you into
submission look. She
produced a spectacular
male for us in 2008
called MCFL Flights of
Fancy, “Pilot”. Pilot
should look outstanding
in the show ring with
his pattern and over all
structure and soundness
