ILR # 283611

Sire: The Captain
Dam: WoodsEdge McKenzie

Aurora Farm Haute Couture or Giselle as we call her is a lovely black and white suri girl.  She is big and tall and has the most amazing fleece that is locking up already.  We want to add Giselle to our show string and have her out in the fall.

Aurora Farm Fashionista “Fashion”

Dam: Miriah’s Maderian Mocha

Fashion is a lovely silky llama youngster by Buckhollow Farm’s Mr. President and out of our Miriah’s Maderian Mocha.  Her fiber is a very rich mahogany color and is very soft.

Fashion is tall and sound and we are hoping to show her in the fall

Sold - Congratulations to the Veitch Family

Aurora Color Me Minx "Minx"
DOB: 08/27/10
ILR # 281075

Sire: HJ Isidro’s Color Up
Dam: WoodsEdge McKenzie

Minx is one of our McKenzie daughters by the outstanding HJ Isidro's Color Up. She carries a soft true black fleece and is very correct. When she was a cria she never put a foot wrong or stood without that sought after llama pose not to mention that lovely head and ear set.

Minx is on the shorter side probably due to being 1/4 Argentine and her not so tall dam. She may even be a mini. She deserves to be in the show ring and we are considering that for her future.

Aurora Tahitian Pearls
"Shimmer"
DOB: 06/30/09
ILR # 277718

Sire: Woodsedge Suri Celebration
Dam
: WoodsEdge McKenzie

Aurora Tahitian Pearls, or as we call her Shimmer, is a stunning suri with an intense gray tuxedo pattern. Her fleece is amazing and has beautiful structure and fineness plus all over length.

Not only is she attractive she is sound and correct. She is tall and has lovely long fleecy ears and limbs.

Shimmer has an easy going temperament like her mother. She is a greeter extraordinaire and is always up for a snack.

Shimmer is part of our show string and should be out this fall.

Aurora Sweet Treat
 "Fudge"
DOB: 06/02/09
ILR #

Sire: HJ Isidro's Color Up
Dam
: Bonnie Lass

Fudgy was born on our farm to Bonnie Lass and HJ Isidro's Color Up. She is a rich dark brown/black color and has wonderful fuzzy correct ears.

She is medium wool traditional. Fudge is a tall girl and will make a nice breeding or show llama. She is also learning guard duties from her mother and various aunts.

Fudgy also has appaloosa genes behind her through both her dam and sire. So she has the possibility of producing those illusive spots.

Sold - Congratulations to Al & Kay Le Sabintino

Shangrila Never More
"Raven"
DOB: 04/03/08
ILR # 274558

Sire: Power Spike
Dam: Shangrila’s Ashley

Raven has the most fantastic temperament! She is easy going and level and is also a ready producer who catches easily and delivers without problems.

She comes from appaloosa genetics, both her dam and sire are appy's, so she may have the ability to produce those elusive spots.

Raven could be a guard for you or can easily fit nicely into your breeding program.  Cria photos are below.

MCFL Mocha Latte

DOB: 06/06/07
ILR # 270611

Sire:    Taj Mahal of Tunitas
Dam:   Miriah’s Maderian Mocha

Latte was the first cria born at Aurora and now she is our tallest llama and the best guard.  She was named after her Mom and for the “foam” on her chin.  She is a full sister to our Miriah sired by McFarland’s Llama Farm - Taj Mahal of Tunitas.   Latte is an intense brown silky girl possessing that tall stretchy style and confidence.  Latte has not been bred yet but will be for 2012.

MCFL Miriah
DOB:  05/19/06
ILR# 268857

Sire:    Taj Mahal of Tunitas
Dam: Miriah’s Maderian Mocha

Miriah arrived at our farm in March of 2007 with her mother Mocha.  She is a beautiful tuxedo pattern with a fantastic outgoing temperament.  Cindy Ruckman from McFarland Llama Farm sent me her photograph shortly after she was born and it was love at first site!  She is also one of the best guards on the farm and never misses a thing.  Miriah is light wool, classic llama.  She is bred to McFarland Llama Farm’s Silver Smith for a May cria. Below right is her son Keenan.

Shangrila's Ashley
DOB:  04/16/05
ILR#  262159

Sire:    Movin On
Dam: Shangrila's Chablais

Ashley is a beautiful silver appy, who came to us from Shangrila Farm in Virginia.  We are hoping for some spectacular appaloosa babies from Ashley, but the best thing about her is her personality which she is passing on to her kids.  She is extremely calm and sweet even while pregnant and her mother and siblings are exactly the same so it has to be the genetics.

Here is Raven produced here at Aurora Farm.  Ashley is bred Appaloosa and is due in August.

Shangrila's Bonnie Lass
DOB:  05/26/04
ILR#  256965

Sire:    Movin On
Dam: Arial

Bonnie is another of our Shangrila Farm llamas.  She is a striking Movin On daughter out of Ariel, a white and silver paint.  Even though she is light wool her fiber is very soft and shiny and she has excellent confirmation.  Bonnie did great at Virginia Classic as a juvenile.  Bonnie and her daughter Fudge are also outstanding guards.

A few of Bonnie’s kids are below.

Fancy came to Aurora Farm in September of 2007 from our friends at McFarland’s Llama Farm in Ohio.  Fancy is a big, stretchy, heavy wool girl, with a strong head and ear set.  She has a lovely pattern and is very determined to get her way with an attempted stare you into submission look.  Fancy is an excellent mother and an easy birther.  She likes to mark her crias with her “fancy pants” too.  Her crias are below.

Sire: Peruvian Madero B1006

Mocha was one of our two original girls and came to us from McFarland’s Llamas in Ohio.  We selected her because of her outstanding lineage, easy birthing and experience as a mother since she was going to be our first birth here at Aurora.  Mocha didn’t disappoint and has given us wonderful crias.  Mocha is now retired from breeding and will live out her days here at Aurora.  Her kids are below.
